Dropped it again!

The one thing that I have noticed about learning new technologies is how important it is to stay with it once you learn them. Playing with technology has been frustrating for me because it isn't something I do everyday, and it isn't something that I want to do everyday. I'm one of those "old school" types of people to which technological advances are of passing interest, but not something that I generally expend time and energy on. I'd much rather be outside really moving about or reading a book--physically holding and turning the pages--not downloading one from online. So small glitches and technological snags really irk me. For example, I just spent about ten minutes visiting a 3rd party website from Flickr and selecting a terrific bubbly, blue picture to download to my blog and talk about...I downloaded the image, blogged about it, and have now lost it!!! I don't know where it went or why, or how to get it back w/o having to re-blog the whole thing over again!! Grrr. This seems to happen to me often, and the only remedy for it is to spend more time learning about the technology behind what I am doing. *sigh* Time, time, time, not enough time!! So here's my whineblog about it. Perhaps I should have called my blog Learn and whine, huh? At least I'll have some knowledge of these websites, should any of our young customers be experiencing problems with them.

The pic you dl'd probably went into a system folder that gets its contents deleted when you restart our staff computers. Just in case, try opening up My Computer and implementing this search: *.jpg for the entire computer. Change the search preferences so you are searching in Advanced mode.
